In 2011, Kristen Colonna met a professional challenge head-on. As OMD’s group account director overseeing innovative communications strategy for PepsiCo, she was tasked with getting more women to buy Lay’s, Tostitos and SunChips.
Through a variety of platforms and promotions, it worked. In fact, her team’s success earned them a Guinness World Record for the fastest-growing Facebook brand page within 24 hours: 1.8 million likes in a day. It also earned Colonna the title of Adweek Media All-Star.
But that was nine years ago. Today’s challenges are greater, deeper and will be longer-lasting.
