After almost four decades together, Jeff Goodby and Rich Silverstein have lived an incredibly interesting advertising life—with plenty more years to go. Yesterday, the Cannes Lions announced that they will receive the prestigious Lion of St. Mark award.

On this week’s episode of the Adweek podcast Yeah, That’s Probably an Ad, David Griner, creative and innovation editor and Doug Zanger, senior editor for creative and agencies, discuss the legendary creative duo, the history of Goodby Silverstein & Partners and some of the work that made them famous, including, of course, Got Milk?, three ads from this year’s Super Bowl and a slew of others.

This week’s podcast also incorporates Goodby and Silverstein’s own words from a recent interview to paint a full picture of the San Francisco shop that continues to reinvent itself, well after its founding in 1983.
