PJ Pereira Will Be President of This Year’s Entertainment Lions Jury at Cannes

Lineup includes CMOs, agency executives and Wyclef Jean

Lions Entertainment announced the jury for this year’s Entertainment Lions, a two-day event running June 21-22 as part of the larger Cannes Lions Festival, with Pereira & O’Dell founder and chief creative officer PJ Pereira serving as jury president.

Pereira & O’Dell has four offices in the U.S. and Brazil and works with clients including A-B InBev, Mattel, Skype, Fiat-Chrysler, Henkel, Memorial Sloan Kettering and Intel, whose “The Beauty Inside” campaign picked up several Cannes Lions in 2013.

Before founding Pereira & O’Dell in 2008, Pereira served as an executive creative director for AKQA in São Paulo. He has also been a member of The One Club’s Board of Directors for four years, and his book trilogy, Gods of Both Worlds, has been published in five countries.

In addition to the Entertainment Lions jury, the Cannes organization also announced the jury for the Entertainment Lions for Music awards, which will be led by jury president and Universal Music Group global head of new business Olivier Robert-Murphy.
