Publicis media agency Zenith welcomed a new lead for its global network.
Matt James joins Zenith as global brand president, tasked with setting its global brand strategy and uniting its offices around the world around his vision, leading work across a client roster that includes Nestlé, 21st Century Fox, Nomad Foods, Oracle and Perrigo.
James told Adweek that Zenith “made great strides in its consultative approach to communications,” which he will build on by “further developing our ROI-plus approach to inventive communications, helping our global clients to manage digital transformation and enhancing our market-leading machine learning and tech-based solutions for clients.”
Prior to his current role, James served as CEO for the Australia and New Zealand region for Publicis Media and previously served as CEO for Zenith in the region. Prior to joining Publicis, he held leadership roles at Starcom U.K. and Nine Entertainment.
“Matt is a highly respected agency leader, who has worked in London, Paris and Sydney and been at the forefront of driving growth for many of the world’s leading brands,” Publicis Media CEO Steve King said in a statement. “He has achieved considerable success during his time at Publicis Media, and I know that he will now take Zenith from strength to strength.”
