Amazon, Coke, Microsoft Sponsor RoadShow

LOS ANGELES — The L.A. Office, an entertainment marketing consultancy, has secured Microsoft’s new Xbox, and Coca-Cola as sponsors for its Sept. 10-12 RoadShow at Universal Studios in Los Angeles.

Xbox is a platinum sponsor, said The L.A. Office, and Heineken returns as a reception sponsor. Returning sponsor Coke plus, The Regan Group consultancy and DMX Interactive, are gold-level sponsors. Other RoadShow sponsorships will come from the Promotion Marketing Association, Krispy Kreme and other companies.

Music companies, studios, TV and cable networks making use of promotional opportunities at the event include MGM, Disney and Disney-owned Miramax Films and ABC, 20th Century Fox and Fox Family Worldwide, Sony Pictures, AOL Time Warner’s New Line Cinema and Turner Broadcasting, the Lifetime, Nickelodeon and Discovery channels and various EMI, Universal and BMG labels.

In its fourth year, RoadShow has switched from traveling studio presentations before marketing executives in L.A., New York and Chicago to a more concentrated L.A. gathering. This year’s media sponsors include License! and Promo Magazine. Brandweek has been a past RoadShow marketing partner.
