Troy Kelley, Arnold Worldwide’s evp, chief digital officer, has joined R/GA as vp, managing director, client services. In his new post, Kelley has been given oversight of the digital agency’s Walmart business.
R/GA won the Walmart business two years ago, beating IPG corporate sibling MRM Worldwide. As part of that assignment R/GA was asked to create a digital marketing platform for the retailer’s "Save money. Live better" campaign created by The Martin Agency, also part of IPG. The account at R/GA does not include Wal-Mart's e-commerce site.
While at Havas’ Arnold, Kelley was responsible for the creation of the agency’s social media and mobile offerings and was the account lead on Arnold’s CVS/Pharmacy and Progressive Insurance digital teams. He also led digital advertising, media, eCRM and e-commerce initiatives for Hershey's, McDonald's, Ocean Spray and Fidelity Investments.
Kelley has more than two decades of industry experience and previously worked at OgilvyInteractive and Agency.com. In his new role as R/GA managing director of client services, he reports to Dawn Winchester, the agency’s evp, chief marketing services officer. R/GA has been adding top leadership in its client services department, which has grown by 100 percent over the last two years.
