Chicago Ad Community Launches Show

CHICAGO Chicago’s advertising community, in partnership with the Chicago Advertising Federation, is launching a revamped ad-award competition called the Chicago Creative Club Awards.

Winners of the competition will be announced at the first CCC Awards show Nov. 13 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.

The show will recognize the best advertising and creative from the town’s agencies and advertisers. The effort is the brainchild of Chicago creative leaders from DDB; Burrell Communications; Element 79 Partners; Frankel; Foote, Cone & Belding; J. Walter Thompson; Leo Burnett; McDonald’s; Ogilvy & Mather; and Young & Rubicam.

The judges will be announced next month. The revamped show includes new categories in photography, illustration, typography, corporate identity and package design.

Entries are due Sept. 19.
