Eating ramen is a delicious way to stay warm when the weather turns cold, but sometimes you need something a bit stronger to get through the holiday season. Dominique Ansel, who famously created the Cronut, partnered with Baileys to create a nice treat for people over 21 to enjoy.
It looks like ramen, but it's actually a sweet dessert called Baileys Bakeout Noodles, and it's the perfect late-night snack.
Ansel and Baileys teamed up with agency Mother, as a joint effort between the London and New York offices, to create and design the treat, which will be available for delivery in New York from Dec. 8 to Dec. 11. Those lucky enough to score the Baileys Bakeout Noodles will find a bread pudding version of ramen noodles soaked in Baileys Original Irish Cream and topped with a passion fruit "egg" and a coconut marshmallow "fish cake." It even comes with a packet of "hot sauce" on the side, which is actually cherry jam.
"I'm always looking for small moments to surprise and delight with pastry, and working with Baileys and Mother to come through with this idea of a late-night dessert takeout was a lot of fun," Ansel said. "We were inspired by my favorite cold-weather comfort food, ramen, so we created a bread pudding version of it with kataifi noodles."

It's been really exciting to help create the Baileys Bakeout Noodles product from scratch, from its unique packaging to its meticulous delivery."
