“Either it becomes an essential element of your culture, or nothing’s really going to change,” says Anheuser-Busch CMO Marcel Marcondes about issues surrounding diversity, inclusion, equity and equality.

Marcondes, in conversation with Endeavor CMO Bozoma Saint John at Adweek’s first-ever Diversity and Inclusion Summit on Wednesday, said Anheuser-Busch InBev has taken great steps to make sure the issues are infused in its company culture.

“We evaluate every single leader in our organization against D&I—it’s now a formal process of what we do, because either our leaders are driving it proactively or nothing’s going to change.”
