Fallout games have long balanced the morbid subject of nuclear annihilation with a surprising level of style and humor, and the much-anticipated trailer for Fallout 4 is no exception.
Game maker Bethesda worked fans into a frenzy yesterday by starting a 24-hour countdown timer on Fallout's official site. This morning, the countdown ended with the reveal of the first trailer:
Fans seem pretty happy with the reveal:

And, of course, people are stoked about the dog.
If we are not able to also pet the doggy while playing Fallout 4, the game does not deserve to be nominated for GOTY. pic.twitter.com/z01H9VYchS

My only question for Fallout 4 is how many types of dogs can I have? Can I pet them all? Can I name them? Will they be house trained?

As a German Shepard owner I approve of the fallout trailer. If it's like my dog it created end times by chewing on everything.

Also appreciated this time around? The bold introduction of … colors!
Really stoked that Fallout 4 introduces a new feature: colors other than brown.

I liked that the Fallout 4 trailer has colors that weren't gray, green, or a grayish green

Got really worried at the cyan/orange color scheme in that house. Then blam! Greens, reds… Yellows? Fallout 4 confirmed to like colors

My favorite thing about the Fallout 4 trailer is that it looks like the game is going to throw in some colors that aren't green.

Pfft, sure I can form a coherent tweet about Fallout 4–BUT COLORS AND DOG AND THE POWER ARMOR AND LOCATIONS AND DOG AND THE MUSIC.
