Kohler has announced its participation in the Green Life Smart Life project, a Rhode Island-based green building showcase home. Kohler is supplying the home with high efficiency faucets, showerhead fixtures, and EPA WaterSense 1.1 gpf toilets, as well as the company’s Cast Iron line of 93 percent recycled cast-iron sinks and tubs. The products used in the Green Life Smart Life home will help the homeowners conserve roughly 32.8 percent over an average family, a projection of more than 93,000 gallons of water annually.
“We are very excited to announce the addition of Kohler to the Green Life Smart Life project,” said homeowner Kimberly Hageman. “The company’s incredible perseverance towards creating eco-conscious solutions for the home, from manufacturing to performance, will allow our family to manage our water consumption with products that beautifully fit the décor and style of our home.”
Kohler recently launched SaveWaterAmerica.com, a viral campaign dedicated to teach homeowners how easy it is to save water. The website gives homeowners water saving tips and techniques, water saving products, and for every person who takes their survey, $1 will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.
