Leaders of Euro RSCG’s Amsterdam Shop Exit

Volten, Beerda, Rooij, Ytsma to open new agency

Euro RSCG is losing business, creative, and strategic leaders from its globally recognized digital shop in the Netherlands, as they exit to start their own agency.

Euro RSCG 4D in Amsterdam handles digital assignments for several global marketers, including Volvo, Reckitt Benckiser, Kraft Foods, and Unilever. The shop’s largest client is Volvo, which represents roughly half of its estimated $11 million in revenue.

The departing leaders are managing director Sander Volten; Sicco Beerda, executive creative director for the Netherlands; creative director Bram de Rooij; and strategy director Eric Ytsma. Their startup will be based in Amsterdam and most likely open in August.

Volten, who also oversees 4D for the Netherlands and Europe, could not immediately be reached, but nonetheless trumpeted the move in a tweet. A representative for Euro RSCG acknowledged the departures this morning as the Havas agency prepared to issue a statement.
