Mediabrands’ Outdoor Services Rebrands

Outdoor Services, the out-of-home unit of IPG’s Mediabrands, has changed its name to Outdoor Advertising Group and formed a strategic partnership with Kinetic, the OOH unit of WPP.

The partnership gives OAG, among the top five buyers of OOH media, access to Kinetic’s back-end tools and technology. OAG will maintain direct and complete control of its client business.

Judy Crisileo and Craig Alexander will head up OAG as vps. Both held similar positions under the former organization.

“We are excited to now begin leveraging industry-defining tools and technologies to provide our clients with the most elevated level of service possible,” said Tara Comonte, chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Mediabrands. “OAG clients will now have access to best-in-class tools, while maintaining the best-in-class thinking and marketing management of Mediabrands.

With the transformation of OAG, Stephen Faso, vp and director of new media for Outdoor Services has decided to exit.
