Melissa Lea has joined Blitz as svp. In that role, she will focus on elevating the Boston agency’s profile as a connections company and helping Blitz deliver deeper strategic programs for current and future clients. “Blitz has the right idea at the right time,” remarked Lea. “Clients aren’t looking for a media agency or a creative agency. They are looking for a company that builds consumer connections and, in turn, grows business. Our connector approach creates an enormous opportunity for client success and I am truly excited to be a part of the Blitz team.” Immediately prior to Blitz, Lea co-founded a consortium-based marketing firm. Previously, she was evp, director of business development at Mullen, where she led marketing and new business efforts for the IPG shop. She has also worked at Arnold, Grey and Scali, McCabe, Sloves.
