Nielsen Reorgs Client Services

Nielsen is reorganizing its client services function, creating client solutions team that can help clients access a full range of Nielsen services.

As part of the reorganization, the company announced Tuesday (April 6) several new hires including Ira Sussman, who is joining the company as svp and managing director of national television client services.

Sussman, most recently senior vp of research insights for the Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau, succeeds Catherine Herkovic, who now oversees quality initiatives for Nielsen’s media business as media quality leader.

The new client services organization, dubbed the One Voice Media Client Services is modeled on Nielsen’s client service structure for its consumer businesses.

“These changes are designed to drive greater partnership in our relationships with all of our clients and improve the level of service that we provide. For some of our most diversified media company clients we are forming unified client solutions teams each headed by a strategic account manager dedicated to leading our company’s relationship with each of them,” wrote Sara Erichson, president of media client services for N.A.

Erichson is also taking a new role in the client services organization as the leader of the Time Warner client solutions team.

Other new team leaders include: Mitzi Reaugh, the leader of the Disney/ABC team; Peter Bradbury, the leader of the CBS team; and Claudio Pardo, the leader of the Univision team.
