OgilvyOne Names Digital Lead for China

OgilvyOne China has hired Lars Bjorge (pictured) in a new role as digital lead in a move to strengthen the agency’s digital offering in the country.

He has relocated to Shanghai, where he will be responsible for further developing OgilvyOne’s digital offering and manage relations with key client Unilever.

Bjorge’s appointment is effective immediately and he reports to Chris Reitermann, president for OgilvyOne China and president for O&M Group Shanghai. “The appointment of Lars to this newly created role is a clear signal of Ogilvy Group’s intent to continuously elevate our digital strategic practice,” Reitermann said.

He said Bjorge brings with him a wealth of knowledge and creativity.

Prior to joining OgilvyOne, Bjorge was managing director for Tribal DDB Oslo and held leadership roles in Proximity BBDO as well.

Bjorge said he is impressed by the speed and depth with which the digital space is developing in China and believes the country will soon lead the way for digital marketing globally.
