CANNES, France—One of the great pleasures of the Cannes Lions festival is discovering wonderful ads you've never seen before.

Cutwater creative chief Chuck McBride has a few favorites from this year's show. He discussed those with us (including some Gold Lion-winning ice cream ads), as well as his own's agency recent creative highlights, during a chat Thursday at the Grand Hotel. 

Also, the agency's president, Christian Hughes, talked about the agency's process and why it's a great time to be an independent agency.
