Isaiah Mustafa suddenly has some competition. Copyranter points us to this new Old Spice spot from Wieden + Kennedy, in which a brand-new super-suave, non-Mustafian spokesman treks through a jungle in pursuit of a woman, pitching the brand's Danger Zone line of products, but getting ravaged along the way by snakes, crocodiles, and pirañas—not to mention hit by a bus. His legs, in particular, get scraped up pretty badly by the end. After a few underwhelming Mustafa spots of late, this commercial is a breath of fresh air. The writing is wonderful ("Danger excites me. But I can't fully enjoy it when I smell like fear and body odor"), and the visuals are hilarious. Effects were done by The Mill, which recaps the process here. UPDATE: This Danger Zone work is airing outside the U.S., so Isaiah is probably safe—for now.
