Chuck Woolery Decides It’s Time to Work for an Ad Agency

They say the advertising business no longer attracts the country's best and brightest. But hell, it just snagged Chuck Woolery! The former Love Connection and Dating Game host, who turned 70 this year, has just joined Western Creative, Inc., a midsized agency in the Detroit area, as a senior-citizen marketing specialist. "Woolery will bring his considerable experience with the rapidly expanding senior market to bear for the agency, providing important insight on how to better market products and services to this crucial demographic," says agency chairman Mark Young. Woolery will not set up co-workers on blind dates, nor will he remark, while heading to lunch, that he'll be back in "two and two." The move by Western Creative also leaves it totally up in the air about which rival agency will sign Richard Dawson. Via Bill Green.
