Here's the first Sony Bravia advertising from Anomaly, which took the European account from Fallon last year. Two commercials directed by Frank Budgen show kids playing soccer (below) and music (after the jump) in front of thousands of people—the point being, everything just looks bigger and more lifelike on a Bravia TV. But actually, no, it's not the picture quality that's being promoted. It's the content—the ability to bring up special videos (old soccer matches, old rock concerts) on Bravia TVs thanks to their Internet connectivity. In the end, the ads feel like they're trying to make both points, and so they make neither. It was so much easier when you just had to throw a bunch of balls down the street.
