Marijuana marketing has changed drastically over the past 10 years, going from a novelty to a booming business. With regulations around advertising cannabis products determined individually by states, brands have to be extra creative (and extra careful) with their marketing efforts.

On this week’s episode of the Adweek podcast Yeah, That’s Probably an Ad, we’re joined by senior creative editor Doug Zanger (filling in as host for David Griner), along with digital media reporter Sara Jerde and staff writer Lindsay Rittenhouse, who penned this week’s cover story on the complicated balancing act that is marketing marijuana in 2018.
