Tell Ted Williams to Tell That Special Someone You Love Them

Kraft's voiceover king gives back

Headshot of Tim Nudd

As we recently noted, it's been a year since Ted Williams, the ex-radio announcer from Ohio with the velvety voice, who was living on the streets and battling drug and alcohol addiction, got his second chance—along with a voiceover deal for Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. Now, he's giving back with a Valentine's Day promotion for the brand. Kraft is inviting you to tag your Valentine's Day love tweets with #VoiceOfLove for the chance to have Ted's silky voice bring your words to life. Ted will record personalized videos for up to 100 tagged tweets, in which he will whisper sweet nothings on your behalf. (Don't worry, guys, he has a girlfriend.) "Tell them you care by having me tell them for you," Ted explains in the video below—a perfectly cheesy message for a cheesy brand. Each #VoiceOfLove tweet will also spur a donation of 100 boxes of Mac & Cheese (up to 100,000 boxes) to Feeding America.
