4 New Partners Added to YouTube Creative Directory

YouTube added four partners to the YouTube Creative Directory that it debuted in August 2018 to help small businesses jump-start their video ad campaigns.

The new partners—giving the directory more of a global feel, as they are based in Latin America, Europe and Asia—are Instanteaser, Joystick, Kazam and Vamp, and the Google-owned video site said in a blog post that they offer a range of services ranging from low-cost editing of existing video content to full-service creation, including filming and animation.

The YouTube Creative Directory now includes information on 15 partners, with more than one-half of them offering video services that start under $500, and most of them operating across other social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

YouTube shared three examples from the directory: Animoto, which provides a drag-and-drop user experience to simplify the video creation process for novices, with monthly subscriptions raging from $33 to $94; Promo.com, with basic subscriptions starting at $29 per month and providing ready-made templates, a free photo library and unlimited downloads; and SmartShoot, which will film professional videos at business locations for as little as $499.

Google creative lead Scott Wedemeyer said in a blog post, “We assembled the directory to show small businesses that they can easily and cost-effectively make videos that can be successful on YouTube. Over the next year, we will continue to add more partners to our Creative Directory.”
