Amazon Releases First Quarter Earnings

Amazon released its first quarter earnings yesterday, boasting a 46 percent net sales increase. John Paczkowski, of The Wall Street Journal‘s All Things Digital blog noted that the biggest “highlight was a 68 percent surge in profit.”

In an official statement, Amazon also noted that Kindle is still the number one bestselling product and that the Kindle book store has hit 500,000 titles.
