Former Forbes Media group advertising director Nicolle Anderson joined MySpace as vice president, Eastern-region ad sales, where she will be responsible for overseeing growth in sales, client acquisitions, and productivity, as well as managing key strategic relationships with major East Coast brands.
Anderson was the second Forbes Media executive to jump to the social-networking site in recent weeks, joining Robert J. Pietsch, who was named regional VP, Western-region sales last month.
At Forbes, she led the integrated media sales team and managed several large clients including IBM, Accenture, and AT&T. Prior to Forbes, Anderson served as marketing manager and sales representative for Newsweek.
