Another Magazine Bites The Dust: RIP World Watch

World Watch is done, the publisher announced recently. The magazine has been published by the World Watch Institute, an environmental research organization, since 1988.

“Like many magazines, World Watch has struggled to overcome the unique challenges that subscription-based print publications face in the current economic and media environment,” the company said in a statement posted online. “Due to financial constraints, Worldwatch has come to the difficult decision to close the magazine and to reallocate resources to our online communications.”

The July/August issue will be its last.
