Arianna Suggests More News, Less Boobs

HuffPost’s 2009 story on Sheyla Hershey reported that the Brazilian woman has the world’s largest breasts (we’re talking 34 FFF after multiple surgeries and an obscene amount of silicone.) They’ve also featured countless stories on breasts including a report on a Natalie Portman‘s nipple sighting, another on a similar ordeal from Padma Lakshmi‘s nipples through a sheer  dress she wore to the 2009 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner and the always fun “Guess the Celebrity Implants.”

The cooling off period, if one was ever needed, between Arianna Huffington and NYT has been nil. Since the recent rocky interactions with NYT Executive Editor Bill Keller, Huffington wasn’t expected to turn up in the pages of NYT Magazine anytime soon. But on Sunday, there she was, answering pointed questions from Andrew Goldman.

So pointed they involved boobs.

“I look at your writers much less than I find myself clicking on stuff that’s been aggregated or the more salacious, boob-related posts,” Goldman remarked toward the bottom of the interview. To which Arianna replied, “That’s such a shame. I think you’re missing out. Jason Linkins is doing some of the best media writing. Amanda Terkel’s coverage of Afghanistan has been ahead of the curve. Shahien Nasiripour has been breaking news constantly on Wall Street reform. Maybe you should be reading more of that and clicking less on boobs.”
