BBC’s iPlayer Integrates Twitter, Facebook

Twitter and Facebook will be front-and-center on iPlayer, the video-on-demand service from the British Broadcasting Corp., which is currently available in beta form but set to officially go live at the end of June, TechCrunch Europe reported.

The two social-networking services, along with Windows Live Messenger, will be linked to users’ BBC IDs, allowing them to share content they’re watching, sync viewing with friends, and discuss the fare in real-time, according to TechCrunch Europe.
