Bethesda Launches Fallout Chat Keyboard App on iOS, Android

The app features a text keyboard, as well as Fallout emoji and GIFs.

Bethesda Softworks has announced the release of Fallout Chat, a keyboard app  based on the Fallout video game universe, on iOS and Android devices.

The Fallout Chat keyboard offers a text keyboard, as well as tabs for Fallout emoji and GIFs. When sending a text message or emoji, users fill a message window with their desired text and/or emoji and tap a button to copy the message.

Users can paste their message into the actual text field to send it to friends. Each message is limited to 35 characters or individual emoji.

By default, text and emoji are sent on a black background with white text, but users can also select a white or brown background for each message, which use black text.

Finally, GIFs can be shared individually by copying and pasting each GIF from the GIF tab. There are 20 GIFs available, featuring the Vault Boy and the franchise’s ‘Please Stand By’ icon.

Fallout Chat is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store and Google Play. The app is Bethesda’s second Fallout-themed release, following Fallout Shelter, its Vault-building game on iOS and Android devices.
