Want to learn about the woman who was born the same year as Pirates Week and now serves as executive director of the annual Cayman Islands celebration? Islands magazine has the details.
Or how about the couple who got married 48 times, over three months, in 12 different countries? If that’s more your flavor, Destination Weddings & Honeymoons is place to visit.
Beginning June 22, the task of overseeing these well-established brands will fall to Jennifer Ceaser (pictured). After eight years as the New York Post’s deputy travel and home editor, she has been recruited by Bonnier Corp. to serve as their Travel Group editorial director. From today’s announcement:
“Jennifer’s travel IQ and experience creating timely, relevant content are exactly what we need,” said Shawn Bean, editorial director for Bonnier Corp.’s Active Interest Network. “Our travel brands must serve as cheat sheets for wanderlust, shrinking the gap between inspiration and action. Jennifer totally gets it, and she impressed everyone she met at Bonnier. We’re ready to get the future started with her.”
Ceaser has also logged editorial miles at Stuff, Gotham and Hamptons magazines. She will join another June Travel Group hire, Leidy Hurtado, who came over to the sales team from Orbitz. Our congrats to both.
