Schedule Your Tweets At The Best Times With Buffer For TweetCaster

Are you a TweetCaster user? Then this news is for you: Buffer and TweetCaster have teamed up to let you schedule your tweets to go out when the majority of your followers will actually see them. Here’s how it works:

After opening TweetCaster on your Android phone, simply write our a tweet and click “Add to Buffer” in the dropdown menu on the top right. Your tweet will be sent into your Buffer queue, and it will go live at the best time of day.

TweetCaster for iOS offers similar functionality, but you have to hit the “Drafts” button after writing a tweet and then select “Add to Buffer” from there.

Here’s how it works on Android:

Buffer uses an algorithm to determine the best time of day for your tweets to be sent. It analyses your followers and their activity to see when they would be most receptive to your tweets, and can schedule dozens of them at a time to go out when you’ll see the most interaction. And according to a study done last summer, Buffer can increase clicks on your links by up to 200 percent and doubles retweets.

TweetCaster is one of the most popular Twitter apps in the Google Play Store, with over 5 million downloads. And it does offer some pretty unique functionality on its own, such as the ability to “smart search” only those tweets that contain links, images or videos, the “Zip it” functionality to easily mute anyone from your stream and the option to speak, rather than type, your tweets.
