Buy An App To Help Bring Books To Kids In Guatemala

App maker Auryn Inc. has partnered with Librarians Without Borders to bring books to needy children in Guatemala. For every Auryn app sold from April 22 to May 3, the company will donate $1 to LWB to help build a children’s library in Asturias, Guatemala.

Here is more about the LWB project: “Since September 2009 Librarians Without Borders and the Miguel Angel Asturias Academy in Quetzaltenango (Xela), Guatemala have worked in partnership to promote literacy and learning. The focus of our collaboration is on the development and operation of a library at the Asturias Academy. By creating a community library in Xela to serve students, their families and members of the community, the Asturias Academy hopes to foster a love of reading and promote education.”

LWB will also take an iPad with Auryn’s apps to the region to eBook apps. Follow this link to buy an app.
