Carol Smith Named VP And Publishing Director Of Bon Appétit And The Gourmet Brand

Carol Smith has been named vice president and publishing director of Bon Appétit and the Gourmet brand. Smith will begin later this month and will report to Thomas A. Florio, Condé Nast senior vice president and publishing director.

Smith was formerly senior vice president, chief brand office of Elle Group at Hachette Filipacchi Media. She helped rack up accolades for Elle, including lading Elle on Advertising Age‘s “The A List” three consecutive years, and winning “Executive of the Year” herself. Smith is also the co-founder of Parenting magazine.
