Want to spend a half-day at Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif.? It’ll cost you, but it’s for a good cause.

The social network’s executive team partnered with charity auction site Charitybuzz to offer an exclusive, half-day experience at its headquarters, but potentially interested bidders had better have quick fingers and deep pockets: Bidding ends at 4:54 p.m. ET Tuesday, and at the time of this post, the current high bid was $3,250. The description of the offering follows:

Get a glimpse into the inner workings of social media powerhouse Facebook when you and a guest visit its Silicon Valley campus and get to meet with top executives behind the scenes.

The half-day visit will include a tour of the campus, a personalized session to present the latest products or services to help you get the most out of Facebook, and lunch at one of the company’s award-winning cafes.

Through the company’s mission to “give people the power to share and make the world more open and connected,” Facebook has helped friends and families stay more closely in touch, share moments and photos, find important and up-to-the minute news and information, stay entertained … and even helped long-lost family members reunite.

Terms: The visit, which can include up to five people (adults or children over 13), must be scheduled at an agreed-upon date and in all cases by July 15, 2013. Exact meet and greets with executives will not be solidified in advance of the visit. Based upon availability. Travel and accommodations are not included. We expect all winning bidders and their guests to conduct themselves appropriately when attending an experience won at Charitybuzz. Polite manners and respect for the generous donor and adherence to any rules or parameters are a must. Winning bidder and guest(s) subject to security screening.

Proceeds of the experience, which Charitybuzz valued at $15,000, will benefit the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights. Other experiences up for auction and benefiting the RFK Center are listed here.
