CurtCo Sells Art & Antiques

CurtCo Publishing has finalized its sale of Arts & Antiques. The buyer, reports Folio:, is Phillip Troy Linger, founder and former publisher of Brentwood magazine.

CurtCo had long been in the process of selling off several titles. In mid-April, Dan Denton of Gulfshore Media bought Gulfshore Life and Sarasota magazines from CurtCo. Later that month, Desert Publications acquired San Diego Magazine.

Linger created Art & Antiques Worldwide Media in order to complete the acquisition, and will serve as president and publisher of the new company. Its corporate offices will be relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina.
