Droid! NYMag.com Launches Android App

New York Magazine‘s NYMag.com got more mobile Thursday, launching an application for Google’s Android operating system built around the site’s five daily blogs — Daily Intel (news), Vulture (entertainment), The Cut (fashion), Grub Street (food), and The Sports Section (duh, sports).

The app is available free-of-charge for all devices running Android version 1.6 or higher, and it allows users to browse all five blogs via headlines and thumbnail graphics or via one stream, automatically loading the most recent posts. It also stores five days’ worth of content for offline browsing.

In addition, the NYMag.com app for Android features in-app Web browsing, the ability to email links, and a dashboard widget that refreshes headlines every 15 minutes.
