The Association of American Publishers (AAP) revealed that eBook sales rose to $28.5 million in March–a staggering 184.8 percent for the month.
Overall, eBook sales have skyrocketed: “reflecting an increase of 251.9 percent for the year.” Bookselling in general has improved. The AAP reported that overall book sales had grown to $458.2 million–a 16.6 percent increase for March.

Adult Paperback sales increased 38.2 percent for the month ($123.2 million) and went up by 23.5 percent for the year.”
