Scott Bartosiewicz will be running social media for the Ford Arts, Beats & Eats festival.
“Arts, Beats & Eats’ social media presence has grown significantly over the past few years,” event producer Jon Witz told the Oakland Press. “We value Scott’s level of expertise and enthusiasm about the festival and feel he will help us advance our goals in this area. Our festival patrons have let us know they enjoy connecting with us through social media and we want to be there for them. Scott will be a big part of this outreach.”
Bartosiewicz’s tweet earlier this month, posted to the official Chrysler Twitter feed rather than to his personal account, not only cost him his job but cost his old company, New Media Strategies, the account with Chrysler. Not much else you can do in that situation.
