Did you know that Facebook gives you the option to turn on daily weather forecast notifications, so that the social network will give you a weather forecast for your area each day? Our guide will show you how to turn these notifications on.

Note: These screenshots were captured in the Facebook application on iOS.

Step 1: Tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap “Weather.” Note: Depending on how often you use Facebook’s “Weather” feature, this icon may be found under “See More” on the Menu screen.

Step 3: Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

Step 4: Tap the toggle to the right of “Daily Weather Forecast” to turn on these notifications.

Note: You’ll need to have Facebook’s location history feature turned on to receive daily weather forecast notifications. If you don’t have this feature turned on, tap “Turn On” on the pop-up that appears to turn it on.

You’ll also need to ensure that the Facebook app has constant access to your device’s location. If it doesn’t, another pop-up should appear that tells you what to do.
