U.S. House Budget Chair Will Appear On Facebook Live

Three younger Republican leaders from the U.S. House of Representatives -- Eric Cantor, Kevin McCarthy and Paul Ryan -- join Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg for a live discussion on the economy next Monday, September 26.

Next Monday evening Facebook is livestreaming a discussion with U.S. House of Representatives Majority Leader Eric Cantor, Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy and Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan.

The young Republican leaders will speak with Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg about the economy and how technology is changing the way government works on Monday, September 26, at 6 pm Eastern Standard Time.

Have a question about job creation, tax breaks, entitlement reform or any of the other pressing economic issues facing the country? Post it on the event wall here, and it might get answered during the event.

The GOP leaders join a long list of other politicos who have participated in Facebook Live events from either Washington, D.C. or the company’s headquarters in California, including President Barack Obama, former President George W. Bush and former U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair.

The event information comes as President Barack Obama announces his own plans today to boost the economy, including a deficit reduction proposal that includes a raising taxes on millionaires, which the administration is calling the “Buffet Rule.”

Sheryl Sandberg knows a thing or two about the economy. She graduated from Harvard Business School with honors in economics and served in the Clinton administration as chief of staff to Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers.

What would you ask the GOP leaders during the Facebook live event?
