Facebook Sets Its Next 3 iD8 Local Events for Developers

The social network will bring a touch of F8 to São Paulo, Berlin and New York

Facebook realizes that not all developers can attend its annual F8 conference, so it is bringing a taste of F8 on the road in the form of its iD8 events.

Director of platform partnerships Konstantinos Papamiltiadis said in a blog post that iD8 events give developers the chance to connect face-to-face with Facebook employees and learn about the latest technologies and product updates, covering topics including augmented reality, virtual reality, Messenger and social commerce.

The first iD8 recently took place in Singapore, and the next three invite-only iD8 events are set for São Paulo Oct. 16 and both Berlin and New York Oct. 22.

Developers can register for São Paulo, Berlin and New York via these links.

Papamiltiadis wrote, “Facebook iD8 is a two-way dialog where we have a chance to hear about your experiences, learn about your challenges and roadblocks and provide an opportunity for you to connect with other members of our shared community that may face similar challenges.”
