Skiers in France, the U.K., the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany can use Facebook to organize and book ski trips following the launch in those countries of the SkiWithMe application.
SkiWithMe, currently live on the Facebook page of SkiHorizon, enables users to design their trip package by choosing from several options, with all search results visible to everyone who joins the group, allowing everyone involved in the trip to have input.
The app automatically keeps track of pricing and availability, updating information if it changes. It covers more than 250 ski areas in the countries mentioned, as well as equipment, lift tickets, lessons, and spa packages.
Other Facebook pages can add SkiWithMe by clicking the “add to my page” button, after which they can earn commissions on bookings made via their pages.
Property owners can also customize SkiWithMe so that it only displays properties they manage, or information about a specific resort.
