FastCompany Hires New Executive Editor

Fast Company, the magazine that focuses on the future of business, has brought on a new Exec Editor. He’s 48-year-old Rick Tetzeli, who for the last year, has been running TIME Inc.’s Assignment Detroit, a journalistic effort using the resources of Time, Sports Illustrated, Fortune, and CNNMoney.com.

“What’s happening at Fast Company is so exciting,” says Tetzeli. “I couldn’t resist. The magazine has amazing momentum, and the website is on fire.” Tetzeli was the top editor at Entertainment Weekly for six years and before that oversaw technology coverage at Fortune before moving up to the #2 slot at the mag.
