You can imagine that Anna Nordqvist, winner of the ShopRite LPGA Classic, was excited with the FedEx truck pulled up to her house to deliver the trophy that came with her triumph. You can also imagine her disappointment when she opened the box and saw that it was shattered in pieces. Nordqvist did what anyone in her position would do: she took to Twitter and posted a picture of the disaster.
Yikes. If that’s not enough, there’s this: “It was her fifth career win, but the first she got to share with her mother. And she won it on what is Mother’s Day in her home country of Sweden,” writes the Bleacher Report.
But at least FedEx has got their customer service game on point. The company tweeted at Nordqvist, letting her know that they would make the situation right. So now we have this from the golf champ.

Whew! Crisis averted!
Every once in a while, it’s to be expected that there will be a mishap. But Fedex has developed a reputation for being careless or outright hostile towards the packages they’re meant to deliver.
You have to think that the company took this delivery issue very seriously because of the high-profile client involved. Perhaps the company will start taking note of the VIP packages to handle them with kid gloves.
