Subject: Updated contact info
As many of you know, today is my last day with the media relations department at Fox News Channel. Working here – through disasters of both the natural and political sort – has been a true adventure, and I have learned a great deal from the committed team that has helped make Fox News the industry leader it is today. I will carry those lessons and insights with me throughout my career, and always be grateful for them.
Next Friday, I depart on an adventure of a different sort…I am headed down to South America to do volunteer work – and a bit of traveling – in Peru. While my email and internet access will be spotty during my travels, I will be reachable, moving forward, at firstname.lastname@example.org and look forward to staying in touch.
