Google tweaked Gmail’s web interface for the iPad which looks and works quite well.
But, the problem is they have not modified their Google Docs components for the iPad’s larger screen. Google Docs Sheets still requires pressing an Edit link on each row you want to work on. Google Docs documents are read-only as are presentations.
The iPad has a large and relatively high resolution screen with 1024×768 pixls (compared to smartphones and netbooks) with a capable web browser. If Google would fully enable the Google Docs components, the iPad would become the best device to use with it since it can be turned on and suspended instanatly for quick edits and reviews.
