Google Makes Steve's Point

I have written before that I like irony, so I find a post on the Android Community web site titled…

Google: Android Apps To Blame For Subpar Battery Life

…amusing. The post notes that Google founder Larry Page defended Android’s power management by suggesting that poorly designed applications are the blame for poor battery life. Where have I heard this before? Even though the Fake Steve Jobs web site is being funny, Steve Jobs, who is becoming the arch enemy of Google, has made statements several times about how multitasking and bad applications cause poor battery life. Battery life impact is one of the reasons Jobs provides for why Apple is not allowing Flash on the iPhone, and it seems Larry Page might agree even though Android 2.2 supports Flash.
