Oh dear, another thing to buzz about and buy. Google boss Eric Schmidt has apparently confirmed–unofficially–that Google has a tablet in the works that will run Android and compete with iPad, according to Mashable.
This info comes from “friends that spoke to the executive at a recent event in Los Angeles,” and Mashable backs it up with a number of other clues, including rumors that HTC will be the manufacturer and that Google is also planning its eBookstore, Google Editions.
Soon there’ll be no room for books with all the eReaders and tablets that will fill our collective shelves. What do you think, is an Android-based Google tablet an exciting prospect?
