Hit the Gym for 1,000 Exercises with Men’s Health, Women’s Health

One down, 999 to go: Things are getting physical at Rodale, as Men’s Health and Women’s Health released their 1,000 Exercises app for Apple’s iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.

1,000 Exercises includes a workout creator that lets users choose from more than 1,000 different exercises and customize their workouts, with options for males and females and the ability to share and sync workouts between all three Apple devices. Users can also publish their custom workouts, rate their favorites, and post workouts to Facebook and Twitter.

As for the workouts themselves, they were created by top trainers and can be searched by equipment, body parts, and goals. 1,000 Exercises provides video demonstrations and allows users to track sets, reps, averages, and weight-loss results, as well as to email workout logs.

Brand editor Matt Bean said:

1,000 Exercises is our most comprehensive fitness application to date and truly showcases the unmatched level of expertise across both of these powerful and trusted brands. We really leveraged our knowledge from working on our previous fitness apps like Men’s Health and Women’s Health Workouts in order to create a product that provides users with a one-stop shop of easy-to-follow exercises for literally every muscle group in the body at the moment it matters most — during a workout.
