HootSuite has added three new apps to its toolbox of social monitoring services designed to help publishers and brands mine the social web for content and insights, including:
- SurveyMonkey, an online survey and questionnaire platform used by global brands;
- Chartbeat, a real-time web and analytics tool for publishers; and
- ContentGems, a content marketing software.
Starting today, HootSuite users will be able to install the apps to access the services without leaving their HootSuite dashboards.
Dave Goldberg, CEO of SurveyMonkey, raised the point that by using SurveyMonkey on HootSuite, companies can both listen to and ask an audience for feedback. “We’re very excited about this latest integration,” he said in a statement. “The ability to analyze sentiment from social streams right next to feedback from SurveyMonkey surveys is a powerful feature that allows HootSuite users to not only further engage with their social following, but make better data-based decisions.”
The amount of data available on HootSuite is growing. HootSuite reports a 554-percent growth in app installs in the past year, with 100,000 installations or more for the most popular apps.
The App Directory now contains a total of 55 apps from third-party developers, including Instagram, YouTube, Tumblr, Evernote, MailChimp, Zendesk, Yammer, and Statigram.
